Bono is the quintessential global figure who lives with a passion that emanates on stage. The U2 frontman has lived an incredible life, and his story needs to be made in a biopic. One actor who should be considered to play Bono is Jason Isaacs.
The biopic could be similar to a Straight Outta Compton feature where all of the band is depicted on screen as story of the whole group. Nevertheless, Bono would recieve the greatest facetime. And a face in Hollywood that looks like Bono’s is Jason Isaacs.
They both share the same instense eyes. Eyes that depict a focus. A curiosity. A confidence. Eyes that make you realize the seriousness of the moment.
Bono is the lead vocalist and lyricist of the famed Irish band from Dublin. And Isaacs is an acclaimed English actor from Liverpool. Isaacs could play Bono during the famed 2016 international donor conference in Montreal where $13 Billion was raised to eradicate diseases.
Also with CGI technology to go back in time, similar to how Johnny Depp was Benjamin Button-ized in the current Pirates of the Caribbean film Dead Men Tell No Tales, Isaacs could be made to look like the 1983 version of Bono at the 83′ US Festival singing Sunday Blood Sunday in front of hundreds of thousands. Truly, any period in time of Bono’s astounding life could be the basis of a Bono biopic.
Bradley Cooper was once considered when a Bono biopic was being discussed in 2012, according to our sources. But Isaacs also has similar facial dimensions to Bono and could probably most authentically speak with an Irish accent, out of the two.
A Bono biopic is overdue and if Bono is down to make this happen we have many more ideas about this feature.
