I am all about biopics. I feel that one of my talents is distinguishing lookalikes, especially pertaining to notable figures and which actors in Hollywood should play them. I’ve written about several biopic suggestions for this blog, in fact. Today in Hollywood the definitive biopic actor is Chadwick Boseman. He has taken on three biopics in four years.

Boseman has portrayed Jackie Robinson in 42. James Brown in Get on Up. And Thurgood Marshall in Marshall released this Fall. Boseman does have a slight resemblance to each. More with Brown and Robinson, out of the three. But his acting chops more than makeup for any lack of being a doppelgänger.

Boseman has merited accolades for these portrayals. Marshall has been nominated for multiple NAACP Image Awards. Get on Up deserved more attention because of Boseman’s candid portrayal, as did 42. Chadwick Boseman may not have garnered Oscar nominations yet but he has hit A-List blockbuster level. He will be seen in the upcoming big budget films Black Panther and Avengers : Infinity War.
