Nasim Pedrad continues to make history among the Persian diaspora. Not only did the SNL alum (which was a historic casting in its own right) come off a $1 Billion hit in Disney’s Aladdin reboot (rumors are calling for a sequel). Guy Ritchie’s live action adaption starring Will Smith and Navid Negahban was wild fun and entertainment.
Pedrad made history with Aladdin and is now making history again starring as ‘The First Female of Persian heritage to star as a lead in a Netflix film.’

Desperados tells the tale of a panicked woman and her two BFFs hurriedly fly to Mexico to delete a ranting email she sent to her new boyfriend. The film is a Netflix original out now on the streaming service.
Nasim Pedrad is making history again starring in an original series, Chad on TBS. Nasim plays a 14 year old Persian boy in a series she wrote.
