Sepideh Moafi stars in ABC Network’s Notorious which debuts Thursday Sep 22 at 9|8 c. Notorious is an interplay between the worlds of criminal defense and media. Moafi is set to play Megan Byrd on Notorious, which is based on the symbiotically influential relationship between a criminal defense attorney and a news producer. The premise is based on real life events between high profile attorney Mark Geragos and Larry King Live news producer Wendy Williams.

Moafi is known for her work on another ABC show Black Box, which debuted in 2014. Moafi played Dr. Farrah Mahmoud on Black Box, which was about a famous neurologist secretly hiding her own bipolar disorder.

Moafi will also play the role of Loretta in the upcoming HBO drama The Deuce starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The Deuce, which is set in 1970s and 1980s New York, is also produced by Franco and will come out next year.

Moafi is in good company joining Navid Negahban who also currently stars on ABC on the drama Mistresses, playing the role of businessman Jonathan Amadi.

Notorious stars other seasoned actors including Daniel Sunjata, Piper Perabo and Ryan Guzman, among others.

Revolving around real life individuals based on the interactions between Geragos and Williams makes Notorious a unique legal drama. It would be a true crime to miss Sepideh Moafi, a Prime Time Persian.
