Kamran Razmdjoo (@kamran_raz) is a Los Angeles based fashion stylist and creative director. He is the Co-Founder of KMSTYL, a unique personal styling company. As a passionate, high-quality celebrity stylist Kamran works with high-end designers to put together the most unique styles together for his clients. Some notable clients he has worked with include NBA player Stanley Johnson, performer Sami Beigi, and actor Matt Bomer. The list is growing as Kamran is starting to expand and work with many female models and actresses. Even though working with celebrities is a dream many have, he states that he most enjoys working with the every day client.

Growing up in Orange County and Los Angeles, he found a lot of his inspirations and love for passion everytime he visited Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. He would walk into designer stores and dream to have certain pieces one day and dress the celebrities in the magazines. Every time he walked into the Louis Vuitton store he felt as if he walking on the red carpet.

Whenever he would walk into a grocery store he would be more excited to go look at the magazine section to see the latest fashion trends rather than shopping for the groceries that he originally came in for. Feeding his appetite for fashion is what really made him full (filled).

As a child Kamran always wanted to study fashion in college, but as he grew older he decided that studying business would be the best route for him to eventually live his dreams and one day eventually own his own business. Studying business has helped open different roads for Kamran as a stylist and has helped him to design his own line of clothing and accessories.

Iman Sadri: How long have you been a stylist for?

IS: What got you interested in becoming a stylist?

Kamran Razmdjoo: I’ve always had an interest and a love for fashion and dressing well. It was my dream to use my unique sense of fashion to help style others.

IS: How had your modeling experience helped with your styling career?

Kamran Razmdjoo: It helped a lot because I learned quite a bit about how stylists work with models. Now that I’m also an influencer, my modeling experience has helped me showcase different styles I put together on myself.

IS: How has past fashion helped shape current fashion and do you turn to fashion from the past?

Kamran Razmdjoo: Fashion from the past is coming back and at a very fast rate. Many designers are being inspired by vintage looks and styles, which I love. I believe the use of vintage looks is great because it helps give my looks an edgier feel.

IS: Who are some of your favorite designers?

Kamran Razmdjoo: My favorite designers right now include my talented friend Mike Amiri, who can’t seem to come out with a piece that isn’t a work of art. If you know me, you always see me in his Mx1 Jeans. I’m also loving his new women’s collection as well, which I can’t wait to style some ladies in. Next, Saint Laurent has always been a favorite as I love their boots and biker jackets. Lastly I think Gucci and Givenchy have stepped it up recently. I love what Gucci is doing with their embroidery pieces and the different prints they’ve come out with. Givenchy on the other hand has come out with a lot of nice black pieces, which you can never go wrong with.

IS: What is the future of the styling industry like?

Kamran Razmdjoo: It’s only going up from here. More and more people are starting to care about what they wear, but either need help learning the latest trends or don’t have the time to go shopping. So I think the styling industry has a bright future ahead.

He has accomplished being the “one-man multinational fashion phenomenon” he stated he once wanted to be.

IS: What is your favorite outfit to wear?

Kamran Razmdjoo: Definitely would have to say wearing my Saint Laurent L17 Biker Jacket, a black t shirt, Amiri jeans alongside a western belt I’m coming out with, and my Saint Laurent chain harness Wyatt boots.

Kamran Razmdjoo: I think that having a nice haircut definitely helps whether its a messy comb over or long hair goes well with my favorite edgy styles. But at the end of the day a nice outfit is a nice outfit.
