I have been writing about Sarah Shahi since 2003. Ever since I saw her in Old School. And then subsequently on the cover of many magazines, which I collected. As a reminder of one of the first Iranian names I associated with American entertainment.
I wrote about her in English in many Persian publications ranging from Peik Khabaree to Gooya to Iranian.com to then my own blog The Persian Observer.
Simply because Sarah Shahi exudes a true happiness when she smiles. Her smile causes the person viewing it to smile. A uniquely special affect. Sarah is a talented actress with a prolific resume. She has broken ground in diversity and is quite inspirational in her message.
She made history by being the first person of Iranian heritage to be a lead on a Top 4 Network series – in Reverie – which I wrote about and Sarah posted in her Instagram, which I was very grateful for. Just as I am very grateful for the beauty and talent that is Sarah Shahi.
Shahi is an in-demand actress who’s best is yet to come. She has already left an indelible mark in the world, after all she is royalty.
