There are many great biopic subjects and not enough of them are made. Vincent Cassel, the award winning French actor, should be a top consideration for a future Aristotle Onassis biopic.
Cassell is no stranger to biopics, having played Vincent Van Gogh in a previous film. A new biopic of Onassis is overdue and Cassell would be a top choice due to his resemblance to the Greek shipping magnate.
The recent film Jackie profiled Jackie Kennedy, elegantly portrayed by Natalie Portman. If a biopic of the Greek shipping magnate is not made into a biopic and if Jackie continues for a sequel perhaps Cassell could be considered for the role of Jackie’s second husband, Onassis.
