In Quentin Tarantino’s new film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a homage to 1969 in cinema, many real life people come to life. One those being Bruce Lee. The actor cast to play him is Mike Moh.

Moh portrays Lee in several poignant scenes – one where he is fighting Brad Pitt’s (stuntman Cliff Booth) character in The Green Hornet. Moh really brings Bruce Lee to life in the film.

That’s why it’s imperative that Mike Moh actually play Bruce Lee in a feature length biopic. There are two scripts on The Blacklist about Bruce Lee. The director to helm the project, Ana Lily Amirpour.

Amirpour is a film savant and a throwback director. Many have called her the next Tarantino. In many ways their films are similar. They only use pre-existing songs for their soundtracks – often the screenplay is written with the music in mind.

Amirpour is also a die hard Bruce Lee fan, regularly posting Bruce Lee clips on her Instagram. Bruce Lee would come to life with Mike Moh’s portrayal and Ana Lily Amirpour’s vision, passion and direction.
