Why Miles Teller Should Play Ted Williams in a Biopic

Miles Teller is an A-List actor who holds his own on screen. He can dive into a character as displayed in many of his films including Whiplash, Divergent and Bleed for This. He will be in the next Top Gun film opposite Tom Cruise in Top Gun : Maverick being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Ted Williams is an iconic baseball figure and war hero, who’s legend grew decades after his retirement. He is a Hall of Fame baseball player who was a 19 time MLB All-Star and a 6-time AL MVP. He remains the last player to have batter over .400, hitting .406 in 1941. It’s time a biopic was made about Teddy Ballpark.

Miles Teller and Ted Williams have an uncanny resemblance. Since Teller is 31, a story that could be made, could center around Williams’ interruption of playing baseball to serve in World War II. Another storyline could be his first come back in 1946 after military service. Upon his return, he one his first AL MVP Award and played in his only World Series.

We hope this biopic gets made, because The Kid deserves his story on screen and Miles Teller is the only actor who should play him. We will reach out to Robert Redford‘s team as well as Tweet to Teller this biopic suggestion.
