An epic Marco Polo biopic was made by Netflix. The only problem is that the actor did not look like the actual Marco Polo. Granted he was played by a fellow Italian – Lorenzo Richelmy – Who did a great job. And in his defense he played a younger Polo. The only painting / rendition of Marco Polo that is mainly seen resembles Oscar Isaac. Who should play Marco Polo is a future stand alone film. In fact, it should be about the time he spent in prison. Telling his story to a ghostwriter – cell/mate of his. Flashing back in great detail to his adventures along the Silk Road. This is a screenplay we are working on.
