Barry Navidi may not be the first name that one would associate as a multi-film producer of Al Pacino movies, but it should be.

Navidi has produced Pacino films Salome and Wilde Salome co-starring Pacino and Jessica Chastain. He has also produced in The Merchant of Venice, starring Pacino, Joseph Fiennes and Jeremy Irons.

Navidi came close to producing a film in the mid-1990s, starring Marlon Brando and Johnny Depp, no not Don Juan De Marco, but Divine Rapture. After financing fellow through he made an epic Hollywood comeback by working with Al Pacino on three films.

Barry Navidi’s three films starring Al Pacino is a major feat, due to the artistic significance of the films in Pacino’s filmography, in the latter half of his career.

Navidi grew up in Iran watching The Sound of Music and dreamed of making films. After moving to England, where he attended film school, he made his way to Tinseltown and into the history books.

Navidi’s next film Modigliani is in Pre-Production.
