Darius Khondji is a legendary name among the Hollywood circle of filmmakers. The Iranian born cinematographer has worked with Woody Allen, Bernardo Bertolucci, David Fincher and Roman Polanski, among others.
Khondji is an esteemed figure among the ASC. His credits include Evita, Funny Games and Se7en among others. His newest film is the magnificent ‘Uncut Gems.’ The film stars Adam Sandler and is directed and written by the Safdi brothers.
His use of the long lens in Uncut Gems creates many special affects. Including a mesmerizing nightclub scene. The film has garnered great praise among critics and is sure to become a cult classic.
