I’ve been coming to the Corner Joint Restaurant for the better part of 18 months, at the very least. In the city of Lawndale, California is a restaurant in a busy strip mall adjacent to a Chevron gas station, across the street from a Target and a Foot Locker.
From the vista the facade may be unassuming. But make no mistake. This is one of the Top 100 Best restaurants in all of Los Angeles. There are over 30,840 restaurants in Los Angeles county. Corner Joint is among the Top 100 best. The the quality of ingredients and the freshness of dishes in terms is second to none.
Try their Lettuce 🥬 Wrap Turkey Burger with no bun 🍞 Since I’ve been in a low carb mission, I have cut out bread, rice, pasta, and pizza. Corner Joint has one of the best beers 🍻 (Buenaveza) and draft beer selections in all of LA.
In addition, their service is impeccable. The proprietor Luis is omnipresent. The trio of the most friendly wait staff, Lucy, Isaac, and Nancy provide the best service this side of the Montage.
Try the shrimp 🍤 with no bacon 🥓 (how I get it) – It sizzles on the platter while delivered. Also, try the turkey 🦃 sandwich 🥪 also in lettuce 🥬 wrap. Lol carb all the way – all the flavor without the fat. I keep all the dressing, but I eliminate the starch related carbs.
