We have already written how Edgar Ramirez should play Guissepi Verdi in a biopic. As amazing as it would be to bring to life the composer behind La Traviata, there is more authenticity with our newest biopic casting blog, the title of this article, ‘Why Edgar Ramirez Should Play Francisco Vázquez de Coronado in a Biopic.’
Coronado hails from Spain 🇪🇸 whose people speak the same language as Ramirez, who is from Venezuela 🇻🇪. Francisco Vázquez de Coronado is best known as the Spanish explorer who traveled from Mexico 🇲🇽 to modern day Colorado, Arkansas, Arizona and much of the southwest between 1540-1542.
Edgar could play a 42 year old Coronado in one of his late in life expeditions. The Spanish explorer died in 1544 at the age of 43-44. There are far too many explorers with epic stories. And far too few biopics being produced. Here is a new opportunity.
